A day @ Kamath Resorts....

Date 18-12-2009 ......Time 9:30 PM. A bus stopped infront of Staples...ohh sorry sorry "Calsoft" and someone really EXHAUSTED stepped out. And then there were 38 to follow, absolutely EXHAUSTED.....WHY?????

Same day early morning ...actually it was dawn...I was having some dreamssssss... ahem... and my mobile started crying...

Sushant : (Irritated) Abe Kidhar hai?
Me : Sooo raha hu?
Sushant : 6 baje bulaya tha na HR ne.
Me : Aaj...!!
Sushant : Ha, chal uth aur aja...bus me waise bhi sab so jayenge.
Me : Are yaaar.....8 baje se pehle koi nahi ayega.....so ja.

And I disssssssconnected, tried re-connect to my ahem..... dream. Buuuutttt thoughts kept on buzzing. Should I go..... hmmmmm.....or not.......or should I ......Ohk...lets see whats there in this so called "Trip". I rapidly completed my "Pratahvidhis" and went to office at 7:15 AM. I knew I would be the last one. There was a bus standing infront of our office gate. @ HR department :--Shrikant was taking attendence and Kanchan was calling people. Only 15 enthusiast were present (ROFL, yipppeee I am not the last one). Everybody was joking .."Inti badi bus karne ki kya zarurat hai ....15 log to Tavera me bhi ja sakte hai" :). Finally, bus moved at the count of 38 and 39th stepped-in after Hinjewadi(Sharad Bhat).

There are 39 and so serene...huuffff...!!!!! I tried to make some noise with my pals ...but that was all in VAIN..!!! Blah blah blah blah .....Jayant ...money ...toll....blah blah ...Jayant ....money .....toll. Reached Lonavala and almighty driver realized and confessed that he had no clue where to go from here. But look at the confidence, everything for him was only 25 mins away. Somehow we reached, "Kamath Residency".

Greeting was well....and then we had breakfast (needed...desperately). I was moving around checking things. There was this old commander who was briefing us about our activities for the day. Rock climbing, rappelling, LUNCH, flying fox , shooting. The cadets started showing there mettle, and starting with Kedar, 7 others actually made it. It was a 52 feet wall, and I thought to cover atleast 30 of them. But I gave up only after 15 feet. But quickly I moved to rappel, but again there was pain in the neck ...coz again I had to come down 52 feet with the help of so called trusted ropes but as per commander, if that rope can carry a 5 ton elephant then I was mere little one. Everybody tried there luck for wall-climbing but all completed rappelling with ease. Then we moved towards LUNCH. Flying fox followed shooting.

Sharad and Sampanna rushed with stumps and bat-ball. We decided 2 teams and played 2 matches. I was on a loosing side for both :). I thought this was the best of the trip.

Really...!!!

It was time to move back. I heard a voice ...."Are hee CD ghyayachi ka?" I quickly took part in that and checked CDs as per our requirements(Mithun da, Kishan Kumar and many more great personalities). Somehow, Dipesh bought "Lavanis". I was not aware of that until it was played in the bus. Now the real stuff started. Nilesh stood up and presented his dancing skill. Then our money bank joined in (Jayant). I could not hold myself any longer and joined them and continued the "Chhapari Dance". Physically exhausted, we decided to play everybody's favorite "Antakshari". There was no stopping after that...........till we reached.
